    Question What is the status of following Hadith. Is it reliable to quote ? من قال لا إله اللہ و مدھا ھدمت له اربعة آلاف ذنب من الکبائر Translation Whomsoever says ‘La ilaha illAllah’ and lengthens it (ie. recite it with a madd), four thousand major sins of his will be forgiven.

    Question Is the following Hadith regarding treating one’s wife with love and affection authentic? If you hold her hand with love, you will get five hasanat (good deeds), if you make mu’anaqah (embrace), you get ten hasanat etc.

    Question Is the following story a fabrication? Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) had misplaced her needle one night and could not locate it. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) smiled and a light emerged from the blessed mouth of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) which brightened up the room resulting in Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) finding her needle.

    Question What is the authenticity of the following Narrattion? Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is reported to have said: ‘Whomsoever lengthens his moustache will be deprived of my intercession, will not drink from my pond (Hawd Al Kawthar), will be punished in the grave and the angel of death will come to him in an angry state’

    Question How is a mawdu’ Hadith  different from da’if jiddan? I have read from ulama that there are some scholars who hold the position of narrating anything so long as its not fabricated. Can you please name some of these scholars?

    Question What is a good book on the compilation of fabricated (mawdu’) Hadiths? I am aware of Al-Mawḍū‘āt al-Kubra but i have read from ‘Ulama that many Hadiths are in that book are not really fabrications. Is there any reliable book which discusses fabricated (mawdu’) Hadiths preferably by Shaykh Muhammad Awamah?
