Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “O people of the Qur’an, do not take the Qur’an as a pillow [i.e. do not cast it aside abandoning it]; recite it properly, giving it its proper due throughout the day and the night. Spread its message, and ponder upon it, so that you may become successful”
