Question

Please provide the reference for this Hadith:

There is a tree in Jannah the distance of one hundred years journey.

 

Answer

Sayyiduna Sahl ibn Sa’d (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“There is a tree in Jannah whose shade a rider will not be able to traverse in a hundred years”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 6552 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2826)
