Wording of a comprehensive du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Question

With regards to the comprehensive du’a of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), I have come across the following narration:

(Aladabul Mufrad, Hadith: 679)

I would like to know if this du’a has appeared in any narrations with the following wording:

  1.  وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَكَ مِنْهُ – with a ك
  2.  وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَ مِنْهُ – without a ك

Question

Please verify the authenticity of this du’a:

اللَّهُمَّ طَهِّرْ قَلْبِي مِنَ النِّفَاقِ، وَعَمَلِي مِنَ الرِّيَاءِ، وَلِسَانِي مِنَ الْكَذِبِ، وَعَيْنِي مِنَ الْخِيَانَةِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ، وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ

O Allah, purify my heart from hypocrisy, my actions from show, my tongue from lies and my eyes from deception. For surely You fully aware of the deception of the eyes and all that the chest conceals

‘Aaishah’s (radiyallahu ‘anha) anxiety at the words of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)

Question

I have heard in a lecture that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) once told Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) that: ‘May your hand be cut/paralyzed.’ She sat holding that hand fearfully and upon returning, he (i.e. Nabi -sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam-) enquired as to what she was doing. Waiting for your words to take effect was the reply. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) smiled and said: ‘Do you not know the du’a I’ve made for anyone I have cursed? [I have made du’a] That Allah increase goodness and blessings on them. So the effect of my words/ ‘curse’ won’t bring anything but good to you.

Please provide the authenticity along with the correct wording of the du’a made by the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam). Read More »

A query regarding the du’a Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) recited for ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha)

Question

Regarding the following narration wherein Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) made du’a for Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha):

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِعَائِشَةَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنبِهَا وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ، مَا أَسَرَّتْ وَمَا أَعْلَنَتْ

O Allah! Forgive all Aaishah’s sins; the past and future and what was done in secrecy or in public

1) What is the reference in Bazzar?

2) What is the correct pronunciation of the word ذنب? Is it ذنَب (dhanab) or ذنْب (dhanb)?

3) Please help to convert the du’a into the plural form. I wish to recite it asking Allah to forgive the sins of the entire ummah.
