وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ، عُقْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، – وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّهُ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدًا عَمَلُهُ ‏‏.‏ قَالُوا وَلاَ أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏: وَلاَ أَنَا إِلاَّ أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَحَبَّ الْعَمَلِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَدْوَمُهُ وَإِنْ قَلَّ

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded a narration which indicates that Mu’awiyah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) accepted Islam before The Conquest of Makkah. Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says, ‘I trimmed the hair of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) at Marwah’.

Is the following Hadith authentic?

Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) has reported that on the Day of Judgement, there will be two people in front of Allah. One person from them will say: “O Allah, my brother has done injustice to me, so put my sin on his shoulder.

Allah Ta’ala will say to that person: “Lift your head and look inside Jannah [heaven].”

The person will say: “I can see a city of gold and palaces of gold.”

Allah Ta’ala will then say to that person: “If you forgive your brother you can be the owner of that.”

What is the authenticity of this narration which states that Jibril (‘alayhis salam) came with a scroll to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)?

عن محمد بن إسحاق قال: حدثني وهب بن كيسان، أنه سمع عبد الله بن الزبير، رضي الله عنهما يسأل عبيد بن عمير الجندعي، عن بدو أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال عبيد: كان صلى الله عليه وسلم يجاور بحراء من كل سنة شهرا، ويطعم من جاءه من المشركين، فإذا قضى جواره لم يصل إلى بيته حتى يطوف بالكعبة، فبينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بحراء، وكان يقول: لم يكن من الخلق شيء أبغض إلي من شاعر أو مجنون، كنت لا أطيق النظر إليهما، فلما ابتدأني الله عز وجل بكرامته أتاني رجل في كفه نمط من ديباج، فيه كتاب، وأنا نائم فقال: اقرأ، فقلت: وما أقرأ؟، فغطني حتى ظننت أنه الموت، ثم كشط عني، فقال: اقرأ، فقلت: وما أقرأ؟ فعاد لي مثل ذلك فقال: اقرأ، فقلت: وما أقرأ؟ فعاودني بمثل ذلك، فقلت: أنا أمي، ولا أقولها إلا تنحيا من أن يعود لي بمثل الذي فعل بي، فقال: اقرأ باسم ربك الذي خلق، خلق الإنسان من علق إلى قوله علم الإنسان ما لم يعلم

Is following Hadith authentic?

It was narrated that Sayyiduna Abu Umamah Al-Bahili (radiyallahu ‘anu) said: Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) came out to us, leaning on a stick, and when we saw him, we stood up.

He said: ‘Do not do what the Persians do for their leaders.’

We said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, why don’t you pray to Allah for us?’

He said: ‘Allahummaghfirlana, warhamna, wardha ‘anna, wa taqabbal minna, wa adkhilnal-jannah, wa najjina minan-nar, wa aslih lana sha-nana kullah.

 اَللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا, وَارْضَ عَنَّا, وَتَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا, وَأَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ, وَنَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ, وَأَصْلِحْ لَنَا شَأْنَنَا كُلَّهُ

[O Allah, forgive us and have mercy on us, be pleased with us and accept (our good deeds) from us, admit us into Jannah [Paradise] and save us from Jahannam [Hell], and rectify all our affairs].’
