Description of the tree trunks in Jannah

Question

What is the authenticity of the following:

‘The stems/trunks of the plants and trees in Jannah will be of gold’

Answer

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The trunk of every tree in Jannah will be of gold”

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2525)

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith sound and Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic.

(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 7410)
