Fulfil trusts and do not cheat

Question

How authentic is this Hadith?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Fulfil the trust for the one who entrusted you, and do not cheat the one who cheated you”

Answer

Imams Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith. Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith sound (hasanun gharib)

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 1264 and Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 3528-3529)
