Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration. Sufyan Thawri (rahimahullah) reports, “It would be said, A Mu’min is in need of patience just as he is in need of food and drink.”

(As Sabr, Hadith: 81)

يحتاج المؤمن إلى الصبر كما يحتاج إلى الطعام والشراب

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
