What is the status of the following Hadith:

“Whoever will recite Surah Dukhan on the Eve of Friday, by morning he is forgiven and he will be wed to a Hur (damsel of Jannah)”

Answer

Imam Darimi (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration as the statement of a senior Tabi’i, Abu Rafi’ (rahimahullah) and not as a Hadith of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). The narration should be quoted as such.
