Is this Hadith authentic?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Nothing is dearer to Allah than two drops and two marks; A drop of tear shed due to the fear of Allah, and a drop of blood shed in the path of Allah. Regarding the two marks, they are: A mark received in the path of Allah (mark of a wound sustained in jihad or other avenues of good) and a mark (or wound) caused in observing one of the obligatory commandments of Allah.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). He has declared the Hadith sound (hasanun gharib)

(١٦٦٩): – حدثنا زياد بن أيوب قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: حدثنا الوليد بن جميل الفلسطيني، عن القاسم أبي عبد الرحمن، عن أبي أمامة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «ليس شيء أحب إلى الله من قطرتين وأثرين، قطرة من دموع في خشية الله، وقطرة دم تهراق في سبيل الله، وأما الأثران: فأثر في سبيل الله، وأثر في فريضة من فرائض الله» هذا حديث حسن غريب.
