Question

Kindly provide the reference for the following du’a:

اللهم أصلح قلبي، واستر عيوبي، فاغفر ذنوبي، وأحسن خاتمتي

 

Answer

I have not come across this as one du’a in any Hadith. However, the meaning is excellent and the du’a may be recited without deeming this exact sequence Sunnah. Most of its phrases do appear separately in other narrations.

Translation: 

O Allah, rectify my heart, conceal my faults, forgive my sins, and grant me a good ending.

 

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
