What is the authenticity of the following?

Recite the following after ‘Asr Salah on a Friday:

  1. Surah Fatihah thrice
  2. Ayatul Kursi thrice
  3. Ayatul Karima (La ilaha illa anta subhanak inni kuntu minaz zalimin) twenty five times
  4. Durud ‘Ibrahim eleven times

Then make du’a for whatever is troubling you, before the next Friday your need will be fulfilled.

 

Answer

I have not come across this narration in any primary Hadith source nor in any secondary source.

This seems to be based on the practice of a pious predecessor (‘amal).  Since these individually are Verses from the Quran and authentic Hadith, there is no harm on practising  this as long as one does not deem this particular prescription to be found in Hadith.
