Is there any reference for reciting this du’a when eating something sweet?

اللهم ارزقنا حلاوة الإيمان

I have not come across this in any Hadith source.

It seems to be a personal practice, as the du’a itself is a supplication asking Allah to grant the sweetness of Iman, which is the real sweetness a believer should seek.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
