Is this statement correctly attributed to ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu):

“If someone throws you away like trash then know that there will be someone who will pick up like a diamond.”

Answer

Although this quote is widely circulated, I have not come across it in any primary source, nor in any reliable secondary source.

The statement should therefore not be attributed to Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) unless a reliable source can be located.
