Question

Is this true?

When Nuh (‘alayhis salam) was on the ark, he travelled across the world. When he passed by Karbala, the earth shook, and he became very afraid. He prayed to Allah, saying he had never felt such fear before. Jibril then came to him and said that this was the place where Husayn (radiyallahu ‘anhu), the grandson of Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), would be killed.

Answer

I have not come across this in any authentic Hadith source. This narration is found in Shi’i sources and is not suitable to quote.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
