Is this narration authentic?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Beware of praising one another [in each others presence] for it is slaughtering [as this will lead to pride and vanity]”

 

Answer

Imams Ibn Majah, Ahmad, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and other Muhaddithun have recorded this Hadith.

‘Allamah Busiri (rahimahullah) has declared the chain sound (hasan).
