Is the following hadith authentic and if so what is the commentary?

ليس للنساء نصيب في الخروج الا مضطرة

Translation: Women are not permitted to emerge from their homes except if extremely necessary…

Answer

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in Al Mu’jamul Kabir. However Hafiz Haythami (rahimahullah) has deemed this narration extremely weak. It is therefore not suitable to quote.

Note: Despite the extreme defect of the above Hadith, the issue of intermingling being forbidden will not be affected as it has other proofs.
