Answer

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this advice of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) advised his son Abu ‘Ubaydah with [the following] advices: “O my beloved son! I advise you to adopt Taqwa of Allah, your home should suffice you/let your home be spacious enough for you, cry over your sins and control your tongue.”

(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 8536)

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded a similar narration as a Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). See here
