Can this narration be quoted?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “If you ask, ask of Allah and if you seek help, seek help from Allah”

 

Answer

Yes, Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared this Hadith authentic (hasanun sahih). This is part of the Hadith wherein Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) offered some advices to Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).
