Is this authentic?

“The month of Rajab is here again, Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: Whoever is the first person to give another person news about this month the fire is Haram to them”

Answer

I haven’t seen this in any Hadith.

There is a fabricated Hadith like this one regarding the commencement of the month of Rabi’ul Awwal.

It’s possible that some people have misquoted this fabrication.

One should avoid quoting the Hadith in question until it can be validated.
