What is the Arabic text and reference for this?

We went out with Sufyan on the day of ‘Eid. He said: “Indeed, the first thing we begin with on this day is lowering our gaze.”

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya (rahimahullah) and Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) have recorded this narration.

Imam Waki’ (rahimahullah) said: “We went out with Sufyan Thawri (rahimahullah) on the day of ‘Eid, and he said, ‘The first thing we will do today is lower our gaze.'”
