Question
Is there a Hadith to this effect?
A guaranteed acceptance of du’a:
Read the Verses in Surah Al-An’am where the name of Allah appears twice and make du’a between the two. This is the ayah in the eight Juz (Verse: 124):
مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيَ رُسُلُ اللّهِ اللّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُ
mithla ma utiya Rusulullah Allahu a’lamu haythu yaj’alu risalatah
That which was given to the messengers of Allah. Allah is most Knowledgeable of where He places His message.
Answer
‘Allamah Jazari (rahimahullah) has cited this while enlisting the times of acceptance of du’as. He states this is tried and proven through the experience of several scholars.
(Al Hisnul Hasin, pg. 41)
Although this is not sourced from Hadith, but through the experience of some pious predecessor, it is indeed worthy of emulation.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
