Question

I came across this du’a provided by you on this website, ‘Allahumma aadim baynana’. Once when Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was informed regarding a discord between two spouses, he recited the above du’a. (Musannaf ibn Abi Shaybah)

I request you to please provide me with the meaning of this du’a and the Arabic text.

Answer

The translation of the du’a is as follows:

“O Allah, create love and mutual understanding between us”

اللّٰهُمَّ آدِمْ بَيْنَنا
