What is the reference for the narration which states Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) advised to maintain family ties in his final illness?

 

Answer

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu). The narration is as follows:

Sayyiduna Anas radiyallahu ‘anhu reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said in his final illness:

“[Maintain and join] ties, [Maintain and join] ties”

(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 436)
