When hearing a donkey bray are we asked to seek Allah’s protection from Shaytan?

Answer

Yes. Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this Hadith. Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “When you hear the braying of a donkey, then seek ‘Allah’s refuge from Shaytan for it has seen a Shaytan.”
