Question

Please mention the Hadith regarding sins leaving from under the nails when a person makes wudu?

Answer

Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith. Sayyiduna ‘Uthman ibn ‘Affan (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whomsoever makes wudu, and makes wudu well, his [minor] sins leave his body even coming out from under his nails.”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 245)
