Question

Kindly provide the reference and Arabic text of the following narration?

Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said: ‘You will not find anything better to follow than the Sunnah of your prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam).’

 

Answer

This is part of a narration Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

Hereunder is the Arabic text of the narration in question,

قال علي رضي الله عنه: ولا تتبعون شيئا أفضل من سنة نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم

 

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
