Is there any Hadith stating the virtue of reciting Surah Fatihah before going to bed?

Answer

I have come across the following narration which mentions the virtue of reciting Surah Fatihah and Surah Ikhlas before going to bed:

Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “When you lay down on your bed and recite Surah Fatihah and Surah Ikhlas, you will certainly be protected from everything except death”

(Bazzar; Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10, pg. 121)

The above Hadith is suitable to quote.

وعن أنس قال: قال رسول الله – صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا وضعت جنبك على الفراش، وقرأت فاتحة الكتاب وقل هو الله أحد، فقد أمنت من كل شيء إلا الموت».
رواه البزار، وفيه غسان بن عبيد، وهو ضعيف، ووثقه ابن حبان، وبقية رجاله رجال الصحيح.

الترغيب والترهيب للمنذري: (١/ ٤١٦)
وعن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا وضعت جنبك على الفراش، وقرأت فاتحة الكتاب، وقل هو الله أحد، فقد آمنت من كل شيء إلا الموت».
رواه البزار، ورجاله رجال الصحيح إلا غسان بن عبيد.
