Question

I believe this is from Nasai, is it authentic?

 اللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Allahummaj ‘alni minat-tawwabina waj’alni minal-mutatahhirin.

O Allah, make me among those who turn to You in repentance, and make me among those who are purified.

This is the extra verse I was referring to in this question, I’m sure it’s in the second juz.

Answer

This extra du’a is reported with various chains which lend strength to each other, and is therefore suitable.

This is not a verse of Quran, but similar to the verse in Surah Baqarah (Ayah: 222)

إن الله يحب التوابين ويحب المتطهرين

“Indeed Allah loves those who constantly repent and those who purify themselves thoroughly.”
