Could you tell me about ‘Allamah Abdul Qadir Al Qurashi? What other ‘allamahs says about him?

Imam ‘Abdul Qadir Al-Qurashi (rahimahullah) was a famous Hanafi jurist and Hadith master.He was born in 696/676 A.H. and passed away in 775. He was the student of the famous Hanafi Muhaddith, Ibnut Turkumani (rahimahumallah).

In addition to his other duties, he was a Mufti, and also gave Hadith lessons too.
Several senior Muhaddithun attended his Hadith lessons, including the famous ‘Allamah ‘Iraqi – the teacher of Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahumallah).
He authored several books on Hadith as well as Hanafi fiqh. He is a famous biographer of the Hanafi scholars. His book on this is published and is entitled: Al-Jawahirul Mudiyyah, fi Tabaqatil Hanafiyyah.
