Is it true that Qadi ‘Iyad (rahimahullah) cited this Hadith in his Shifa and accepted it?
المعدة حوض البدن، والعروق إليها واردة
Answer
Qadi ‘Iyad (rahimahullah) has certainly cited this narration in his Shifa. However, he has not accepted it to be authentic. Rather, he explicitly mentions that he does not regard it as authentic because it is fabricated.
