Question

I have heard of a pious predecessor who would close up his business in Sha’ban so that he could free his time to recite Quran. Who was this pious person?

Answer

This was ‘Amr ibn Qays Al Mulai (rahimahullah), a Tab’ut Tabi’i as mentioned by Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al Hambali (rahimahullah).
