Can you confirm the source of this Hadith?

يد المعطي العليا وابدأ بمن تعول أمك وأباك وأختك وأخاك ثم أدناك أدناك

Answer

Imams Nasai and Ibn Hibban (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Tariq ibn ‘Abdillah Al Muharibi (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

Translation

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The hand that gives is is the upper hand (i.e., it is more virtuous) and begin [giving charity] to those under your care; Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, then the next closest and the next closest.”
