Can you verify the authenticity of this Hadith?

“Whomsoever has learnt the Quran and then complains of poverty Allah will record poverty and starvation between his eyes till the day of Qiyamah”

 

Answer

Imam Al ‘Uqayli (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma). The Muhaddithun have declared the Hadith a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.
