What is the reference for the following Salutation [Durud]:

This form of salutation [durud] is not sourced from Hadith. Rather, it is based on experience.

Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah (hafizahullah) recommends that it be recited between Maghrib and ‘Isha Salah to assist with increasing one’s memory.
