Is this Hadith authentic?

لقمة في بطن الجائع أفضل من عمارة ألف جامع

“Feeding one morsel to a hungry person is more virtuous than constructing 1000 Masjids”

Answer

‘Allamah ‘Ajluni (rahimahullah) has stated that this is not a Hadith [of Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam]. It should therefore not be quoted as a Hadith, even though feeding the poor is indeed virtuous.
