Is this a Hadith?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Allah sent me as a teacher and to make things easy”

 

Answer

Yes, Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded these words as part of a longer narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir ibn ‘Abdillah (radiyallahu ‘anhuma).

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1478)
