Is this authentic?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
“When any individual recites salutations (durud) upon me, that salutations after getting out of his mouth goes forth immediately to all the plains and rivers of the world, towards the east and the west, and no plain or river in the world is left which this salutation has not passed-over. The salutations proclaim, “I have been recited by such and such an individual, son of such and such person, who recited unto Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) supreme to all creations of all the worlds.” So there remains no object or thing that does not recite salutations on to the individual who recites salutations on Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). And from that salutations, there is brought into being a bird that happens to have seventy thousand wings. In each wing, there are seventy thousand feathers. In each feather, there are seventy thousand faces and in each face seventy thousand mouths and in each mouth seventy thousand tongues. Each tongue chirps the glorification of Allah Ta’ala in seventy thousand kinds of dialects and records the reward of all of this for the one who recited the salutation.”

 

Answer

I have not come across this narration in any primary Hadith source. This narration appears in non primary sources. The author of the commentary of Dalailul Khayrat has also mentioned that he has not located this narration.

In fact, the author of Al Lu-lu al Marsu’ further states that ‘Allamah ‘Iraqi (rahimahullah) has indicated towards this Hadith being a fabrication.

The Hadith is not suitable to quote. Further, such exaggerated rewards are usually found in fabricated Hadiths.
