لا تقوم الساعة حتى يصير العلم جهلا والجهل علما

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration as the statement of the famous Tabi’i; Imam Sha’bi (rahimahullah).

Translation

Qiyamah will not occur until knowledge becomes ignorance and ignorance is regarded as knowledge

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.

(٣٨٧٤٣) – في إسناده مجالد، ولا يضر، فمؤيدات هذا الخبر كثيرة، وكل ما ورد مما يدل على انعكاس الأحوال في آخر الزمن: فهو مؤيد لهذا القول، ومن ذلك: «أن تلد الأمة ربتها، وأن ترى الحفاة العراة…» وغيره وغيره كثير.
