استعينوا على الحفظ بترك المعصية

 

Answer

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration as the statement of Imam Waki’ ibnul Jarrah (rahimahullah).

Imam Waki’ (rahimahullah) said: “Assist [yourself] to increase your memory by discarding sins.”

(Rawdatul ‘Uqala, pg. 39)
