Question

Could you give the reference and authentication of the following Hadith?

الدين المعاملة

“Religion is in the [good] treatment of others”

 

Answer

I have not come across this as a Hadith. This seems to be a proverb.

Nevertheless, there are many Ahadith that discuss good treatment towards people and displaying good character. These could be quoted [as a Hadith] instead.
