    Question Is this Hadith authentic? Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “If anyone offers an excuse to his Muslim brother and he does not accept the excuse [whereas this is a genuine excuse] then he becomes guilty of a sin like that of an unjust tax collector.”

    Forgiving and overlooking one’s helper/slave seventy times a day

    Question Is this Hadith authentic? A person came to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and asked: O Rasulullah! How many times should I forgive/overlook my servant? Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) remained silent. The man asked again: O Rasulullah! How many times should I forgive/overlook my servant? He replied: Everyday seventy times [i.e. many times a day].'”

    Nabi’s (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) advice on how to treat one’s wife

    Question Could you reference the narration? Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah al-Qushayri (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates: “I went to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and asked him, “How do you command us [to treat] our wives?” He replied, ‘Feed them from what you eat, clothe them from what you wear, and do not beat or revile them.”
