Question

I am searching for a reference for this Hadith:

Abu Barzah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported, “I asked Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) to show me an action by which I will enter Jannah.” He said, “Remove harmful things from people’s path.”

Answer

This narration is recorded in Al Adabul Mufrad of Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) and is suitable to quote.

Sayyiduna Abu Barzah Al Aslami (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once asked Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) to show him an action that would grant him entry into Jannah. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Remove obstructions/hazards from the pathway of people.”

(Al Adabul Mufrad, Hadith: 228)
