I am searching for a reference for this narration:

قال الحسن: صلاة النهار عجماء وصلاة الليل تسمع أذنيك

 

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah) has recorded this statement of Hasan al Basri (rahimahullah).

Hasan Basri (rahimahullah) said: “The Salah offered during the day is silent, and the Salah of the night [you hear] i.e., It is audible.”
