What is the reference for this narration?

Abdullah bin Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said, “If only the mouth of that person who recites while behind the Imam is filled with soil.”

 

Answer

This statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) is recorded in Sharhu Ma’anil Athar of Imam Tahawi (rahimahullah)

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said: “If only the mouth of that person who recites while behind the Imam were filled with soil.”
