What is the reference for this narration?

“They [Sahabah radiyallahu ‘anhum] used to liken the prayer between Zuhr and ‘Asr to the night prayer.”

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah (rahimahullah) has recorded this statement of Ibrahim an Nakha’i (rahimahullah).

Ibrahim an Nakha’i (rahimahullah) said: “They [the Sahabah radiyallahu ‘anhum] would liken the ‘Isha Salah and the [optional] Salah between Zuhr and ‘Asr to Tahajjud Salah.”
