ألا إن شهركم قد أخذ في النقص فزيدوا أنتم في العمل

 

Answer

This is the statement of Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al Hambali (rahimahullah), [Demise 795 A.H].

He writes, “O servants of Allah! Half of Ramadan has already passed. Who among you has taken account of himself for Allah’s sake? Have you given this month its due right? Who among you has resolved, before the gates of Jannah are closed, to build lofty chambers within it, one above another? The month is swiftly diminishing, so strive to increase your efforts in righteous deeds.”

عباد الله شهر رمضان قد انتصف فمن منكم حاسب نفسه فيه لله و انتصف من منكم قام في هذا الشهر بحقه الذي عرف من منكم عزم قبل غلق أبواب الجنة أن يبني له فيها غرفا من فوقها غرفا ألا إن شهركم قد أخذ في النقص فزيدوا أنتم في العمل فكأنكم به و قد انصرف فكل شهر فعسى أن يكون منه خلف و أما شهر رمضان فمن أين لكم منه خلف.
