Question
Is this correct?
Surah Zilzal reading two times is equivalent to one Quran
Answer
Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded two narrations on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas and Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhum) which states that reciting Surah Zilzal [once] is equivalent to 1/2 of the Quran.
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2893-2894, also see: Targhib, vol.2 pg.378 & Fathul Bari, hadith: 5015)
Therefore, it could be deduced from these narrations that reciting Surah Zilzal twice is equivalent to one Quran.
And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
