Is this authentic?

The soul of a believer removed like how hair is removed from flour.

Answer

The soul of a believer is generally extracted easily, whereas the soul of a disbeliever refuses to leave the body easily.

Sayyiduna Buraydah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhin wa sallam) said: A Mu’mins passing away is merely his forehead breaking out into a perspiration.

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 982. Classified as sound by Imam Tirmidhi -rahimahullah-)

Regarding the hadith in question:

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “When a believer is about to pass away, the angels come to him with silk which has musk and fragrance, his soul is then extracted like how hair is removed from flour….

(Musnad Bazzar, Hadith: 9541)

The above hadith has been reported via a suitable chain of narrators.
