Is the following Hadith reliable?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said that Allah will save a man in front of all the creation on the day of Qiyamah. Ninety nine scrolls of his deeds will be spread out, each scroll extending as far as the eye can see.
Against all this will be weighed the one good deed that he has, which is ‘Ash hadu al la ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh’ his witnessing that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger, and it will outweigh all the rest. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) then said: “Nothing is heavier than the Name of Allah.”
Imam Tirmidhi, Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahumallah) and others have recorded this narration.
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2639, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 4300)
Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared this narration as sound (hasan) and Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic (sahih).
(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 225)
This Hadith is famously referred to as ‘Hadithul Bitaqah‘ (Piece of paper).
And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
